FIFA 23 Releases New Icons and Their Card Ratings

EA Sports finally released the new icons of FIFA 23! This is either a prestigious moment for players or a bet won by players. All in all, you should know some things about the game first before anything else.

FIFA is a virtual game developed by EA Sports. Every year, they release the game with selected players on the list, referred to as icons. It can be any player, though–dead or alive. 

For 2023, there is quite a diversity for the players who got it. We take a look at these players and tell you how they do in this article. Are you ready? Let’s get it!

The new ICONS of FIFA 23

Let’s see if your bet made it to the new ICONS of FIFA 23. For this year, three players add to the growing list of ICONS. And they are Gerd Muller, Xabi Alonso, and Jairzinho. 

Now, let’s take a look at all three of them!

Gerd Muller

Muller is not as famous as Messi or Ronaldo. But you wouldn’t believe he has the same goal ratio as the two. Some even consider him as one of the best footballers in his time. He has a prime rating of 94, which is above average. 

Xabi Alonso

Winning the 2010 World Cup and Euro 2012 makes Alonso’s name. His ICON rating is a solid 90, also above average! He also had a big name being with Liverpool, Real Madrid, and tons of championships with Bayern Munich.

Jairzinho

Last but not the least is Jairzinho! He holds a good prime rating of 92. In his play, he had a total of 33 goals and 81 caps. He also has a win at the 1970 World Cup with his nation, Brazil. 

ICONs in FIFA are heroes. No, we mean a literal hero! That’s why any player could be an ICON, retired, dead, or alive.

Now, a player gets three cards with their own ratings. They have a category, for the beginning, prime years, and end of their career.
